The Posted Worker Notification process is managed and administered by the General Labour Inspectorate Executive Agency at the Minister of Labour and Social Policy in Bulgaria. The user must first create profile for the company, to enter details on the register of declarations.

European Union (Posting of Workers) Directive (2018/957/EU)

The work of foreigners, third-country nationals, in the Republic of Bulgaria is regulated in the Labour Migration and Labour Mobility Act (LMLMA), the Implementing Rules to the LMLMA, and the Act on Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria (AFRB).

The following information is required:

  • Employee Name & Social Security Number
  • Name and Address of Posting Entity
  • Nature of Activities
  • Name of Contact Person
  • Head Office Location
  • Details of Liaison / Bulgarian Representative 
  • Details of posting incl Start Date – Projected End Date
  • Place of Posting
  • Job Description

Hotline 0700 17 670

Calls to the hotline 0700 17 670 (the line is set to 5-minute calls) are to be made  for consultation on issues related to the lawfulness of the employment relationship, securing compliance in the area of occupational safety and health, as well as control on the  provision of employment intermediary services.

During opening hours, the hotline receives signals for violation of the labour law. Each signal is followed by a labour inspection. 

Making a phone call from a fixed telephone, the user pays the cost of a city call.

Making a call from a mobile phone, the user pays the cost of the call according to the individual user plan with the mobile operator.

Telephone for accidents at work 0800 14 008

Telephone 0800 14 008 (the line is set to 3-minute calls) receives reports for accidents at work, including ones suspected to have been concealed and not reported to the Labour Inspection Directorates.

Telephone for signals of Bulgarian citizens working abroad (00359) 2 81 01 747.

On this telephone, Bulgarian nationals working abroad can lodge their complaints concerning violation of their labour rights as European citizens in another EU Member State.
