European Union (Posting of Workers) Directive (2018/957/EU)

The posting of workers was transposed into Irish law as a miscellaneous provision of the Protection of Employees (Part-time Work) Act 2001. The Act provides that the full range of Irish employee protection legislation applies to workers posted to work in, or otherwise working in the State.

The following information is required:

  • Name and Address of Service Provider
  • Name and Address of Contact Person
  • Work Location
  • Employee Name, Address and Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Job Description/Job Title and Nationality
  • (Non – EEA National) Employment Permit held (Y/N)
  • Start Date – Projected End Date
  • Gross Weekly Pay
  • Total of Weekly Hours Worked (In Ireland)

The Form of Declaration may be submitted to:
